Goalkeeper : Ederson

Club: Manchester City

Score : 6/10

Other Option : Alisson

Ederson has once again had a great season in the Premier League and is in line for a second Premier league win with Manchester City. With his good form this season with 16 clean sheets and even registering an assist meaning he’s had a great season

However Alisson has had 19 clean sheets this season and consequently leads the way in the goalkeeping stats . Consequently we feel Alisson should’ve received the Goalkeeper spot

Right Back : Trent Alexander-Arnold

Club: Liverpool

Score: 9/10

Other Option : Kyle Walker

Trent Alexander-Arnold has been the stand out right back in the premier this season with 17 Clean sheets and 9 Premier League assists to his name already with a few games left to play , you can clearly see why Trent has been given his spot

Walker has also had a great season but hasn’t reached the stats of Alexander -Arnold so isn’t deserving of Trent’s spot

Centre Back : Virgil Van Dijk

Club: Liverpool

Score 10/10

Other Option : N/A

Virgil Van Dijk has been undoubtedly the defender of the season with 3 goals , with 17 clean sheets , Van Dijk has been named by many as the best defender in the world so there can be no complaints about Van Dijks Place

Centre Back : Aymeric Laporte

Club : Manchester City

Score : 10/10

Other Option : N/A

Laporte has been in fine form this season and has been named one of the defenders of the season , in his second season in English football he’s really found his feet and had a great season for City , with 2 goals and 14 clean sheets he is deserving of his place

Left Back : Andrew Robertson

Club: Liverpool

Score 10/10

Other Option : N/A

Andrew Robertson has had another outstanding season with 17 clean sheets and 9 assists Robertson is deserving of his place

Central Midfield: Paul Pogba

Club : Manchester United

Score : 2/10

Other Option : Declan Rice

Pogba has been in fine form for the second half of the season since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s appointment as manager . With 13 goals and 9 assists this season you’d think Pogba would be deserving of his spot , however having been on the bench and in and out of the team for the first half of the season it’s hard to see how Pogba deserves his spot , with Pogba coming under criticism from all angles due to poor performances .

Declan Rice has been a break out star this season for West Ham with his form this season catching the eye of top clubs such as Manchester United, with 74 interceptions this season and 8 clean sheets in an under performing West Ham team it shows what good form Rice has been in this season.

Central Midfield: Fernandinho

Club : Manchester City

Score: 6/10

Other Options : David Silva

Fernandinho has been in food form this season , however hasn’t been a stand out performer this season for Manchester City , undoubtedly a great player but hasn’t done enough to out do the likes of Declan Rice this season

David Silva has as always been in fine form this season , with 6 goals and 6 assists being solid but nothing special it seems odd to be a name that should’ve been included . However his work rate on and off the ball , combined with his chance creation is deserving of a spot in the team

Central Midfield: Bernardo Silva

Club : Manchester City

Score : 10/10

Other Options : N/A

Bernardo Silva has been the standout player of the season for City this season with his Work rate being the highest in the Premier League and regularly picking up man of the match trophies , with 7 goals and 7 assists , coupled with such high work rate. There was no way he could miss out on the team of the season

Right Winger : Raheem Sterling

Club: Manchester City

Score : 10/10

Other Options : N/A

Sterling has been in fine form this season registering 17 goals and 10 assists , he couldn’t miss out on the team of the season and could well be named the PFA player of the season

Left Winger : Sadio Mané

Club : Liverpool

Score : 10/10

Other Options : Eden Hazard

Sadio Mané has been in the form of his career this season registering 18 goals and 1 assist this season it’s clear to see how he’s in the team of the season

Eden Hazard has been in absolutely world class form this season with 16 goals and 13 assists , aswell as the most take ons and chances created in the Premier League he is very unlucky to miss out but we believe it is justified due to Chelsea’s poor season as a club as it’s also based on win percentages

Striker: Sergio Aguero

Club : Manchester City

Score : 8/10

Other Option : Mohammed Salah

Aguero has been in fine form this season with 19 goals and 8 assists and is highly deserving of his spot with City on their way to another Premier League title Salah will feel very unlucky to miss out due to his fine form this season with 19 goals and 7 assists, however with Aguero’s form this season and City sitting top of the table it’s hard to disagree with putting Aguero in the team
